Other than planning the giveaway, I am working on a unique custom piece for Olivia's cousin... it's going to be a western cowgirl themed clock! I've never made a clock before, but am giving it a shot. I truly think I'll try anything once! It doesn't look too hard to put a clock together... in all honesty, the design is harder for me because I'm a perfectionist. I'll be sure to post pictures as soon as I get it completed. I need to find more time and an extra set of hands first. Ha ha.
And other than helping mommy, Olivia is counting down the days until her 1st birthday party. She is so excited she can barely sleep. In fact, she just fought mommy for about 30 mins over a nap... but mommy won. I really think she's the winner since she's the one getting some shut eye in the middle of the day, but she would argue otherwise.
The other project that has been weighing heavily on my mind is how to fix up my house!!! I am SICK of it! Every time I do something that I think adds a little oomph a short amount of time goes by before I start hating it again. I want to add some damask walls, vibrant frames & decor and paint! That's just the tip of the iceberg. I would love to add wanes coating and molding, in addition to a HUGE workspace for O. Rae Designs, as well as new carpet... but I just don't see that getting done any time soon as I just can't decide how to move forward or where to start. There are a few blogs out there that really inspire me, however...

Well, I better get back to work around the house, and planning this giveaway, and washing my face... before the munchkin wakes up!

ReplyDeleteMy advice on the giveaway - do a 2 or 3 day timeframe..... not too long because then it's just kinda dead..... but not too short that it's frantic! :-)
Can't wait! And LOVE all the ideas for the house! Take it from me, a nice big workspace is SOOOOO helpful (though my sewing room is a DISASTER right now....

I can't wait until I have an official work space/craft room. My kitchen is a disaster. It will be really nice to be able to eat at our dining room table again!
